I’ve been a Girl Guide since age 7.  As and adult I’ve been a Brownie Guider, a Pathfinder Guider and I’m currently a Guide Guider.

My daughter is moving on to Pathfinders this year but I’m staying with the Guide unit.  The adventure continues.

I’ve been fortunate to had passed down to me a great wealth of guiding information.  Some of it is stale  dated but much of it is still useful and relevant.  I hope to use this blog to pass this information on to those who are looking for new ideas to use in their units and to pass on new ideas that come across my path.

This blog will be posted to 5 or 6 days a week and I will try to follow this pattern:

  • Monday – Program Activities
  • Tuesday – Potpourri
  • Wednesday – Readings, Games and Crafts
  • Thursday – Meeting Plans
  • Friday – Challenges

Thank you so much for this blog!!! It is so unbelievably resourceful and exactly what I needed. I am just entering my second year of Guides with my daughter in Winnipeg, Manitoba and I was struggling. I am not a crafty mom and rely heavily on others to help me through! lol
Just wanted to say THANK YOU again!
